Right Where You are At

Freeze your life right this minute. Are you here in the spirit or just the flesh? Ester, was living out a fairy tale come true. The country girl made queen, loved by her husband the king, a favorite in the court with an uncle and family who loved her. I have to believe that all along God was preparing her for the moment that was to come upon her. If God should plainly call tonight are you ready?

Est 4:14 For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

Remain Completely Silent at this Time

The context of Ester’s dilemma. The timing of Ester’s dilemma. The timing in perspective. The bigger picture. Does she understand? Mordecai must convince her to act.

There is a time to speak and there is a time to be silent.

What time is it in your life? What time is it in God’s time? Our dilemma, “should I go or should I stay”.

Ester’s response.

The Need: Relief and Deliverance

Relief, a delight, KJV-enlargement, spirit, a breath of fresh air

Deliverance, deliverance from restraint

Mordecai points out that despite her position she is in need of that same breath of fresh air and deliverance from restraints that she is not aware of.

Do we not have the same needs as the society we live in? Do we not need that breath of fresh air from God if we are ever to bring that breath to society? Do we not need to break the demonic restraints that shame us to silence while the world waits to hear our voices?

The need is obvious when we look out at the society we live in, yet it is not so obvious when we wrestle with God’s direction for our own lives.

We need to break free and see ourselves as God sees us: A unique person, for a unique purpose, at a unique time. Ester doesn’t really understand this until this moment, but Mordecai always carried this knowledge with him.

What About You?

Hab 2:2 “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it.

Will you run your race like you know you are in a race? Will you run your race of life in such a way that others can understand what your life is about by watching you run and then even be able to run also?

Isn’t this the whole basis of discipleship and evangelism?

Look around you, we are all surrounded by people who need relief and deliverance.

Look at yourself, can you see the worldly and demonic restraints that are holding you back?

The time has come to break free, so you can preach freedom to those who are bound.

This is a supernatural deliverance that can only be realized when you shift yourself from a carnal lifestyle to a life of pursuing the spiritual. “He whom the son sets free is free indeed”. The time has come to arise.
